Reid M. Gayheart, CPA

Reid Gayheart is a third-generation Certified Public Accountant with ten years of experience. Reid began working at Summit CPA as a tax intern in 2014 and joined the team as a Tax Accountant in 2017. He was Summit CPA’s first official hire.

Reid received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Louisville in 2017, graduating Summa Cum Laude. While at UofL, he was a Henry Vogt Scholarship recipient and made the Dean’s List all 8 semesters. Reid is also a proud member of the Beta Gamma Sigma business fraternity.

At Summit CPA, Reid focuses on partnership and entity taxation, specializing in S-corporations, rental entity returns and multi-state issues. Reid also has experience with trusts and estates, and individual foreign disclosure reporting requirements.

Reid is an avid softball player and tries to hit home runs in all facets of life.
